Canine Allergic Dermatitis

What is the Purpose of this Study?

Is your dog experiencing symptoms such as excessive, irritable itching, inflamed skin, or chewing on their feet and legs? We want to help as if left untreated, these symptoms could worsen.

We are currently studying a new treatment for the clinical signs of allergic dermatitis, so that dogs can experience relief. This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of this newly proposed treatment in dogs who are currently diagnosed with any form of allergic dermatitis.

What is a Clinical Study?

When Do I Have to Go to the Clinic?

There will be up to 3 visits over the course of approximately 28 days.

What Will Happen in the Study?

There will be:

Physical examinations
Labwork
Assigned study treatment

Is My Pet Eligible to Enroll?

*Requirements for Eligibility to Participate Include (but aren’t limited to):

Dog must be ≥6 months of age
Dog must have symptoms of dermatitis
Dog cannot be pregnant, lactating or intended for breeding
Dog must meet specified wash-out periods for certain allergy treatments

What Do I Have to Do?

You are responsible for:

Bringing your dog in for the required visits
Being available to answer questions about your pet
Administering assigned study treatment as prescribed and recording on provided forms
Completing assessments of your pet’s condition at home and during visits
Notifying the study veterinarian of any observed unusual behaviors
